Michigan’s airfields have launched biplane aces, the Tuskegee Airmen, and one of the longest bombing missions in history. Bombs Away chronicles the most famous missions of four air bases: Sawyer, Wurtsmith, Selfridge, and Kincheloe, which was home to nuclear-armed B-52s from 1961 to 1977. Join Ric as he shares rare footage and interviews with the men (and women) who made history at our local airbases. This presentation includes a special section on diversity and the battles fought here in the US by black pilots.

Speaker: Ric Mixter
