SHOT DOWN: The true story of pilot Howard Snyder and the crew of the B-17 Susan Ruth

The presentation begins with how he wrote the book and then talks about pilot training, the B-17 Flying Fortress, what it was like to fly combat missions, his dad’s plane being shot down, being hidden by the Belgian Underground and then fighting with the French Resistance, a little bit about how the Belgian people remember and honor the US airmen, and closes with a tribute to World War II veterans.
