Artifact Donations

Accepting charitable donations

Donate to the Museum

Thank you for your interest in donating to the collections of the Michigan Flight Museum. One of the ways new artifacts are added to the Collection is through the generosity of our members and individuals. Donations assist Michigan Flight Museum in fulfilling our mission to provide unique educational experiences based on authentic objects and stories from the United States military.

The Museum welcomes and encourages charitable donations of artifacts, memorabilia, and objects of significance to general aviation and aviation military history. As a general policy, the Museum does not accept objects on permanent or long-term loan.

Guidelines

Where possible, please make arrangements with the Michigan Flight Museum Registrar BEFORE bringing in your donation to the Michigan Flight Museum

Michigan Flight Museum is not inclined to accept any of the following:

  • VHS videos
  • Aircraft models
  • Books and Magazines

All charitable donations will be subject to review by the Michigan Flight Museum Collections Committee. Please note, not every charitable donation will be accepted.
